Light & Wonder receives iGaming supplier license in Ontario ahead of highly anticipated legal market launch
Light & Wonder set to offer iGaming content to players in newly regulated Ontario market
Scientific Games Corporation, doing business as Light & Wonder, has been granted a supplier license by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), which will see the company enter the newly regulated Ontario iGaming market on April 4th.
The license will allow Light & Wonder to supply approved operators with its industry leading OpenGaming⢠content aggregation platform, which features a breadth of iGaming content and supporting marketing tools to deliver a world class gaming experience.
Ontario-licensed operators will have instant access to the ecosystemâs vast range of in-house developed games, including titles such as 88 Fortunes, Marvelous Mouse Coin Combo, Dancing Drums Explosion and Chicken Fox 5x Skillstar as well as releases from some of the globeâs biggest third-party game studios.
Ontario becomes the sixth regulated jurisdiction in North America where operators have access to Light & Wonderâs diverse content portfolio, following in the footsteps of the companyâs successful operations in New Jersey, Connecticut, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
This news follows Light & Wonderâs successful rebrand, supporting its bid to position itself as the leading cross-platform gaming company in the world.

Bettors in Ontario will be able to turn to evoke plc (888) for their sports wagering needs this season. The global betting and gaming company, formerly known as 888 Holdings plc, has re-signed with the Canadian Football League (CFL) as one of its Authorized Gaming Operators, offering fans premiere gaming and betting experiences to further their CFL fandom.
