Betcris Executives To Feature At Upcoming SBC Digital Summit LatinoAmérica Gaming Conference
The SBC Digital Summit Latinoamérica conference is scheduled to be held next week, bringing together gaming and industry leaders to discuss how the growing Latin American (LatAm) gambling industry is poised to explode. It is the largest virtual event in Latin America, and will provide fully digital and interactive conferences, along with exhibits and networking experiences for delegates interested in the gaming and betting industry. In order to analyze the current state of the industry and emerging opportunities in the LatAm market, SBC has convened the most distinguished experts in the industry and recognized leaders to share their visions. Among these will be several executives of LatAm’s leading gaming company, Betcris.
The online summit will be held across two days next week, June 16 and 17. As with previous virtual events organized by SBC, this one promises to be a major networking and data-channeling event that everyone in the LatAm gaming industry must attend. Getting things going will be Sports Betting In Focus, a look at how sports gambling is helping catapult all other types of gaming activity across the region. It will explore how regulations are currently being implemented, as well as what the future holds for the entire Latin American gaming market.
Following a keynote speech on sports integrity from the ethics and compliance officer of the South American Football Confederation, Graciela Garay, the conference’s first panel will be held. Grey to White is designed to explore the different ways in which sportsbooks can alter their marketing messages in order to be in compliance with regulatory frameworks that are being implemented across the region, and Betcris CEO JD Duarte will be taking the stage with a couple of other gaming industry leaders to explain how things are evolving. Specific topics included in the panel discussion will be how operators can effectively promote their brands while remaining compliant, what opportunities are surfacing through sponsorship and broadcasting deals and what impact regulations will have on affiliate entities.
Joining a panel on eSports in LatAm will be Oscar Miranda Palma, Lines Manager-Esports Supervisor for Betcris. As eSports continues to become more popular and is now a key vertical for gaming operators during the COVID-19 pandemic, new challenges have been brought to the forefront of the vertical. Companies are seeking out new ways to engage fans, and Palma will be discussing how operators can learn from what has already been established in regions such as the US and Asia.
There are ample opportunities for LatAm operators to build upon the success of other areas, and LatAm eSports activity has the potential to be a huge revenue stream for companies that implement the proper structures.
Also speaking at the summit will be Fernando Garita, the head of business development at Betcris. He will focus on lottery operations in LatAm, joining delegates to discuss how lotteries are currently being run in different LatAm countries and what is in store for the future. Lotteries have always been a significant part of gaming operations throughout the region, and are gaining more importance in light of the global pandemic as a means of keeping revenue-generating channels open.
SBC Digital Summit Latinoamérica is going to set the stage for how operators introduce new solutions going forward, which will enable better, more solid growth for the region’s gaming initiatives. According to SBC founder and CEO Rasmus Sojmark, speaking about the event at the end of May, “This is a fantastic way to kick-off our first-ever dedicated Latin American event, as some of the most influential executives in the industry join us to outline how the sports betting sector can achieve its potential in the region.”
