Sportsbet.io, a major cryptocurrency-based betting website, has strengthened its sponsorship of Imperial, one of the top esports teams in Brazil.

As per the newly extended sponsorship agreement, Sportsbet.io now has the naming rights of all teams  and all electronic games of Imperial. In addition, Imperial’s CS: GO team will move their headquarters to Monterrey, Mexico.

Felippe Martins, CEO of Imperial Sportsbet.io, said:

“Sportsbet was the first to trust our project and this was of great value to the direction of the club. Since then, we have walked and grown together. Because of the partnership, we were able to advance the initial projection by several years. This year, something that was planned for the future will be launched later this year, which is our new Gaming Office with 1200 m².

During that first year of partnership, we had an imminent growth of Imperial, with the contracting of winning lines and players recognized nationally and worldwide ”.

Justin Le Brocque, Head of Marketing at the betting site, commented:

“During this little more than a year that we were together with Imperial, we only reaped good fruits. Naturally, therefore, we decided to increase the scope of the partnership and created projects and idealizations in common agreement. The movement of eSports is constant and is on the rise. And we not only like that, we also feel part of it. Imperial, therefore, becomes an important partner for us in this regard, especially in the context of Latin America, in particular, Brazil. From now on, the sky is the limit and we will increasingly seek FUN, FAST and FAIR experiences ”.
