The Indiana Gaming Commission has released a list of sports which would be available at the licensed gambling establishments in the state. The list includes popular sports like baseball, basketball and football, as well as comparatively less popular games like bowling and professional darts.
The Gaming Commission released the full list and confirmed that sports betting would be available at ten of the state’s 12 casinos and at three off-track betting locations which have been given temporary sports betting license for retail betting operations.
Indiana is planning to launch full-scale sports betting operations before the start of the NFL season. However, some state officials and experts doubt that sports betting could be launched within that time frame.
Bettors in Indiana would be able to place wagers on NFL, NBA, MLB, collegiate sports, professional golf, soccer, the Summer and Winter Olympics, boxing, tennis, and UFC, among others.
