Sportradar and Caribbean CAGE LLC enter into a partnership to bring world-class sports betting technology, content and managed trading services to the Caribbean community and South America

Sportradar (NASDAQ: SRAD) has been selected as the official technology and services provider to Caribbean CAGE LLC as the Caribbean and Latin American gaming company seeks to establish a high-quality and immersive sports betting offering for bettors in multiple jurisdictions including Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Guyana, Saint Lucia and St Kitts and Nevis. The multi-year agreement follows a competitive tender process.

Sportradar is fully implementing ORAKO, its high-performance and feature-rich player account management (PAM) and sports betting solution to launch a customizable omni-channel sportsbook offering that allows Caribbean CAGE LLC to engage bettors in multiple jurisdictions through one integration while delivering a consistent betting experience across retail, desktop and mobile web channels.

The ORAKO solution provides a single point of access to Sportradar’s award-winning portfolio of betting products and services, allowing operators to choose how they configure their sportsbook. Caribbean CAGE LLC has opted to set-up its sports betting offering with managed trading services (MTS), which will provide bettors in the region with access to a comprehensive range of pre-match and live betting content.

Further, the live betting aspect of the agreement connects Caribbean CAGE LLC’s customers with content featuring Sportradar’s premium sports partners, which includes major United States leagues including the NBA, the NHL and MLB as well as globally-recognized sports properties such as the UEFA Champions League. Sportradar also has a major cricket portfolio and expects its cricket offerings to provide great opportunities for Caribbean CAGE LLC customers around the Caribbean community.

“Sportradar has a strong track record of collaborating with operators to establish new betting offerings that are dynamic and engage customers deeply,” the Managed Sportsbook Services Senior Vice-President for Sportradar, Jacob Lopez, said. “Combined with the advanced technological capabilities of the ORAKO solution, Sportradar is best positioned to partner with Caribbean CAGE LLC and deliver a customizable sportsbook offering that enhances the sports betting experience for a diverse customer base across the region.”

“We are extremely excited to have entered into a strategic partnership with Sportradar,” the founder of The RLJ Companies, majority owner of Caribbean CAGE LLC, Robert L Johnson, said. “Together we plan to operate sports betting at retail locations and online in markets throughout the Caribbean and Latin America. Caribbean CAGE has existing licenses for sports betting in several countries in the region and we are working towards launching our new partnership during the first quarter of 2024.”

“CAGE Sports will deliver a world-class product to the benefit of small businesses throughout the region,” the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for Caribbean CAGE LLC, Robert B Washington Jr, said. “Our customers will also benefit by having access to both retail and digital solutions to wager on their sport of choice.  We see sports betting as a big part in the growth of our company. Having Sportradar as our partner creates tremendous value and will assist us in delivering a world-class sports betting experience.”

Stake, the global betting operator and sportsbook, can proudly announce the approval of its Casino and a Sportsbook licence application in Brazil, showcasing their expansion into the gaming industry and regulated markets

Stake, the global betting operator and sportsbook, can proudly announce the approval of its Casino and a Sportsbook licence application in Brazil, showcasing their expansion into the gaming industry and regulated markets.

Stake demonstrates its dominance after its successful and rapid incursion in new regulated markets in Colombia, Peru, and the acquisition of IdealBet in Italy. This development enhances Stake’s global footprint and positions the company to deliver its product offerings to a rapidly growing audience.

Stake considers Brazil one of its crucial markets, ranking it as their second-largest worldwide. To solidify their commitment and provide top-tier experience, the operator’s centre of operations is located in São Paulo. Stake is focusing on reinforcing local operations, bringing the cutting-edge innovation Stake is known for, and world-class entertainment for Brazilian players.

“For Stake the licence means a further step in its global expansion into regulated markets. In this case, the relevance of the market and the speed in which we have achieved it is a good example of how we work. Stake Brazil users can expect a similar experience to Stake.com; the best customer service, good product, good games and in general what we have always been known for which is to put the customer at the centre of all operations, marketing, and product decisions,”said Brais Pena, Chief Strategy Officer at Stake.

Along with the news of the licence, Stake is hitting this market with a local Country Manager with Thomas Carvalhaes joining the team alongside 10 employees, supported by Stake’s global team of 1000. As the foundational team, they are fully committed to deliver localised experiences that resonate with players while working within the regulatory framework.

“We are very excited about the regulated environment and everything that is happening in the Brazilian market, its growth and the way it is establishing itself. I am taking the lead of a brand that has the ability to innovate and find the right opportunities to speak with the right audience, that is something really powerful and definitely a winning combination,” expresses Thomas Carvalhaes, Brazil Country Manager.

“Looking ahead to next year, we will continue to expand our local team and operations. Stake is already a prominent name in Brazil, with partnerships like Juventude Football club, the UFC, and the Fittipaldi brothers Pietro and Enzo, and we’re optimistic about replicating our successful formula across Latin America.”
