SiGMA Group Acquires BiS Gaming Show in SĂŁo Paulo

After two editions of the Brazilian iGaming Summit (BiS) with global repercussions and the grandiose debut of Afiliados Latam this year, Grupo Jericho Eventos confirms the date of the events for 2023 and will present yet another impactful novelty for the world market. This is BetExpo, an event focused on sports bettors and traders.

The group, a reference in holding events designed to promote the gaming and sports betting sectors, takes an extremely important step to further consolidate the theme and strengthen the subject in the country.

The first edition of BetExpo – which will take place at the same time as BiS 2023 and Afiliados Latam – will take place on June 17th and 18th of next year, in São Paulo. The biggest city in Latin America will once again host the biggest sports betting event, online casinos and lotteries in Brazil, as well as the first exclusive conference for the affiliate market.

Another great novelty for this third edition will be the change of venue for the event. Aiming to provide even more comfort, structure and meet the growing demand from brands and professionals interested in participating in the conventions, the group chose to transfer all appointments to the Transamerica Expo Center.

The president of Jericho Eventos, Alessandro Valente, explains that this decision was taken to welcome partners, sponsors, international players and the general public in the best possible way. “We had an extraordinary demand in the last edition of the event and we chose to hold this third in a space ten times bigger, which will provide even more comfort, a greater number of congressmen, more companies and space for networking”.

Carlos Cardama, co-founder of the event with Valente, also expresses his vision of growth for BiS. “The Brazilian gaming and betting market has enormous potential and, with the maturing of markets in already established countries, Brazil is now proving to be very interesting, at a time of opportunities for exponential growth. All companies are wanting to mark their presence in Brazil and we are very pleased with the interest of companies – national, Latin American and global – in being present at BiS as a gateway to the emerging Brazilian market”, comments Cardama.

BetExpo

BetExpo’s goal is to allow participants to interact face-to-face with the biggest names in Trading in Latin America, bringing them closer to the dream, whether it’s to live on bets, earn extra income or just for fun.

The organization has already anticipated the presence of three prominent personalities in the sector: Nettuno (Professional Gambler and Youtuber), Pedro Feitosa (Sports Trader) and PedrĂŁo Bet (Professional Gambler and Second Best Gambler in the World in 2016).

The convention promises to deepen the discussion and sharing experiences of the most experienced bettors. The event will bring many strategies and teachings of technical topics such as tips, predictions and Handicap in a simple way, and that will help the public to understand how to find valuable tips for their bets with the best names in the market.

Afiliados Latam

The second edition of Afiliados Latam will take place on June 15, 16 and 17, 2022. Designed to highlight the affiliate segment – which is going through a period of frank expansion in the country – the debut of the event received a large part of the industry with stands of the most relevant national and international brands.

With more than 30 brands participating in the last exhibition, the event awarded everyone with the opportunity to meet the new names in the industry, aiming to expand networking after two years of restricted face-to-face relationships due to the pandemic.

With a significant number of participants in the first edition, Afiliados Latam 2023 tends to increase its audience and present a program focused on topics in vogue for the market, such as affiliate marketing in general, cryptocurrencies, NFT, tokens and much more.

BiS 2023

The Brazilian iGaming Summit (BiS) quickly became the main reference for the betting sector in Brazil. The event gained worldwide reach by providing the exchange of information and experiences between established players, new groups and influential figures in the Federal Government.

In 2023, BiS will once again receive politicians, regulators, operators, authorities, ambassadors and representatives of some of the biggest companies in the global industry to point out the future of lotteries, affiliates and sports betting businesses in Brazil and worldwide.

And one of the highlights of the BiS agenda will be the Brazilian iGaming Awards, which will be promoted for the third time and will take place on the night of the 15th. The awards ceremony is exclusive to the gambling industry and seeks to honor the brands, professionals and personalities who remain committed to making a difference in the market.

Paysafe strengthens US iGaming solution with Pay by Bank launch

New product allows American bettors to log-in directly to their bank accounts at online sportsbooks’ cashiers to fund real-time wagers

Paysafe (NYSE: PSFE), a leading payments platform, today launched Pay by Bank for iGaming, a new solution allowing U.S. online bettors to instantly and securely fund deposits at operators’ cashiers directly from their online bank account as well as cash-out winnings seamlessly. This product expands the capabilities of Paysafe’s Gateway, the iGaming payments solution that connects U.S. operators to the market’s most comprehensive range of traditional and alternative payment methods via a single integration.

Building on Paysafe’s 25+ years’ history streamlining iGaming payments, the company added Pay by Bank to respond to the growing demand from U.S. players for payment choice. The Gateway already connects operators’ cashiers to Paysafe-processed card payments, the Skrill digital wallet, the Paysafecash online cash solution, and third-party payment products. Strengthening operators’ player acquisition, Pay by Bank provides their customers with yet another payment option that is particularly appealing to the 27% of bettors who prefer transacting via direct bank transfer, according to Paysafe research.

Leveraging Paysafe’s single-integration Gateway, U.S. online gaming operators can now offer Pay by Bank to their customers, giving first-time users the ability to sync their checking or savings account in just seconds, then fund their player account securely in real-time. For returning bettors, the process is even easier, with Pay by Bank supporting one-click payments from linked accounts.

Winnings can be withdrawn from players’ sportsbook accounts just as seamlessly, with Pay by Bank enabling rapid payouts directly to linked bank accounts, again initiated through a single click.

For operators, all Pay by Bank transactions are indemnified, reducing liability if a player’s deposit from their bank account defaults. Along with helping to drive player acquisition by providing more payment choice, Pay by Bank’s other benefits for operators include strengthening customer retention by improving the overall payment experience. According to Paysafe research, transactional speed and financial security are players’ top-two priorities when it comes to the payment experience.

Zak Cutler, President of Global Gaming at Paysafe, said: “We’re delighted to unveil our new Pay by Bank product for our iGaming solution, which will almost certainly prove very effective in both converting and retaining players for U.S. operators, with the product’s impressive transactional speed and robust security. Through Pay by Bank, we continue to grow the Paysafe Gateway by providing American operators and their customers with unparalleled payment choices, all through a single integration.”

Paysafe will be showcasing Pay by Bank and the Paysafe Gateway while exhibiting (Booth A270) at the SBC Summit North America in New Jersey from May 7th to 9th, 2024.
