Casino Collectibles Show Announces Casino Memorabilia Auction
The Casino Collectibles Association’s 18th annual casino chip and collectables auction featuring over 200 lots is now open for bidding. The Association fundraiser is open to public bidding at the Casino Collectibles Show on Thursday, June 17 at the South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The catalog of all items in the auction can be viewed and downloaded at http://www.ccgtcc.com/2021ClubAuction.pdf. Most of the items are donated by Association members, and all donated lots start at just $5 regardless of their value.
The in-person auction is conducted in two parts – a silent auction of 20 lots from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday 17th, and a live auction of all remaining lots which starts at 7 p.m. the same day in the Joshua Room at South Point. All lots are available to view and bid on all day until 4 p.m. on Thursday at the auction table on the show floor. Attendees are encouraged to register for the auction and collect their bidding card at the auction table during the day to save time. ID including proof of address are required to register.
The Casino Collectibles Show features casino chip experts and their displays dedicated to a multitude of gaming chip categories such as rare chips, roulette chips, counterfeit chips, illegal casino chips, odd denomination chips and collections dedicated to sports and even aliens. Additional collections on display include gaming tokens, dice, slot cards, playing cards, matchbooks, menus, dinnerware, swizzle sticks, casino photos, post cards – just about anything with a casino name on it.

Celebrity appearances at the Casino Collectibles Show include Poker Hall of Famers Linda Johnson and Jan Fisher from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, June 18, and “Pawn Stars” reality TV Show historian Mark Hall-Patton from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 19.
The public is invited to take in these four free educational seminars that run concurrently with the Casino Collectibles Association’s 28th annual show in the in the Joshua Room of the South Point Hotel and Casino:
Collecting and Researching Slot Cards presented by Robert Baker on Thursday, June 17th at 8 a.m.
The Mob Museum presented by Geoff Schumacher on Thursday, June 17th at 3 p.m.
The Trail of the Museum of Gaming History presented by Jim Follis on Friday, June 18 at 8 a.m.
When the Mafia Ran Cuba presented by Charles Kaplan on Friday, June 18 at 3 p.m.
The Casino Chips and Collectibles Show registration and admission is open to the public June 17, 10 AM – 5 PM (admission $10), June 18, 9 AM – 4 PM (admission $5) and June 19, 9 AM – 4 PM (admission is free). Clark County residents can bring a friend for free to next week’s Super Bingo $160,000 tournament at the Plaza Hotel & Casino, May 6-8
Home to downtown Las Vegas’ only bingo room, the Plaza Hotel & Casino is offering Clark County, Nevada residents who register to play in next week’s Super Bingo tournament the opportunity to bring a friend for free.
Happening Monday, May 6 through Wednesday, May 8 in the Plaza’s expansive ballroom, Super Bingo is expected to draw nearly 1,000 people from the local Las Vegas valley and across the country and Canada for the opportunity to win big playing fun-filled games of bingo over two days, with a $50,000 super coverall both days while socializing with like-minded bingo players.
Bingo-only registration is $160 per person, and Clark County residents who register can bring a friend for free. Registration is available online at https://www.plazahotelcasino.com/bingo/super-bingo-registration/. Hotel-and-bingo packages start at $300 for a four-night stay with no resort fee.
All Super Bingo players receive one 6-on paper pack for both days, two daubers, free drinks via an open bar at all sessions, boxed lunch both days, and $10 in free slot play after the first day’s session.
The Plaza’s Bingo room offers six daily bingo sessions at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. and is located on the 3rd floor. By parking on the third floor of the Plaza’s self-parking garage, guests have convenient and direct access to the Plaza’s bingo room and parking is validated for bingo players.

Kambi Group plc extends Mohegan partnership with on-property sports betting agreement in Pennsylvania
Kambi Group plc (“Kambi”), the world’s trusted sports betting partner, has agreed a long-term on-property sportsbook partnership with Mohegan to provide its award-winning sportsbook at two retail locations in the state of Pennsylvania.
The partnership will see Mohegan utilise Kambi’s cutting-edge retail sportsbook offering across more than 20 kiosks in sportsbook locations at Mohegan Pennsylvania and Mohegan Pennsylvania at Lehigh Valley Race and Sportsbook.
The deal further strengthens Kambi’s relationship with Mohegan, which already utilises Kambi’s suite of sports betting products at ilani in Washington, as well as online and on-property in the Canadian province of Ontario at Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara.
