Live! Casino Pittsburgh to Hire More Than 500 Employees

Officials of the Live! Casino Pittsburgh at the Westmoreland Mall are going to start the procedures to fill more than 500 positions needed to open the $150 million facility. The casino, which is under construction in the former Bon-Ton store, will include 750 slot machines and 30 table games.

Job seekers can apply for managerial and supervisory positions online at WorkatLive.com. The website will be updated as more jobs become available.

Specific job qualifications, as well as the hiring timeline, will be discussed during three virtual community information sessions. The one-hour sessions are scheduled on July 21 at 8 am, 12 pm, and 6 pm. They will include a presentation and a question-and-answer period. Registration is required.

A recruitment center, which will open in August in the lower level of the mall, will allow job seekers to meet with casino representatives who can answer questions and provide additional information. The center also will host open houses for interviews.

“We are anxious to meet many more of our area residents to share the highlights of our casino, along with the potential career opportunities available to them,” said Sean Sullivan, casino vice president and general manager.
