Gaming Corps makes debut in regulated Brazil

Provider among a small number of studios that went live from day one with more than 50 games already being enjoyed by players at big name brands like Betano and Superbet
Gaming Corps, a publicly listed game studio based in Sweden, has made its hotly anticipated debut in the newly regulated Brazilian iGaming market.
The developer is one of a small number of providers offering 50+ slot, casino and non-traditional games to operators in the market, which opened its doors to regulated online gambling on 1 January 2025, from day one.
Gaming Corps content is already live with some of the leading operators in the market including the likes of Betano, Sportingtech and Superbet. The studio is now looking to join forces with other brands so they too can launch its in-demand content to their players.
Gaming Corps anticipates huge interest in its non-traditional casino content including Mines and its unique Smash4Cash™ game series.
The provider’s most popular games among Brazilian players include Penalty Champion and Jet Lucky 2 but operators can access Gaming Corp’s entire portfolio including Casino Slots, Table Games, Multiplier Games, Ine Games, Plinko Games and Smash4Cash™ titles.
Brazil is set to be one of the largest iGaming markets in Latin America and is estimated to be worth up to $1.4bn in 2025 alone rising to $3.7bn by 2029 according to H2 Gambling Capital.
Juha Kauppinen, CEO of Gaming Corps, said: “The entire industry has been working very hard to be prepared for Brazil launching on January 1 2025, and this includes the entire Gaming Corps team.
“Competition is of course fierce but that also makes our achievement of being among the first providers to launch into the market with more than 50 games even stronger.
“Gaming Corps was one of the very few suppliers already live on day one with so many games on the leading operators, and we will now work even harder to get them live on even more licensed brands in the coming weeks and months.
“The potential in Brazil speaks for itself, and with our unique non-traditional games and our ability to create localised experiences, we have high hopes for the Brazilian market becoming a success for us and our operator partners.”

Comanche Nation Entertainment is set to expand both Comanche Red River Hotel Casino and Comanche Nation Casino, setting the stage for a multi-phase expansion that will strengthen its entertainment offerings, boost economic opportunity, and extend its reach across Southwest Oklahoma.
The new expansion will allow for long-term growth of both casino properties. Construction will begin first at Comanche Red River Hotel Casino with a new event center that expands the gaming floor, adds non-gaming amenities and creates new space to host concerts, conferences, and community events.
“This capital improvement marks a strategic milestone for Comanche Nation Entertainment. It gives us room to grow in a smart and sustainable way—creating more value for our guests, our team members and most importantly, Comanche Nation,” said CEO Steven Doyle.
The Comanche Red River Hotel Casino expansion includes approximately 150 additional slot machines, 15 table games, new bar, and food service areas and non-gaming attractions including an arcade and virtual golf suites. The event center will offer flexible seating for 500 to 750 guests and support cross-promotional programming designed to drive longer stays and higher guest engagement.
“Expanding our hotel room capacity and building an event center creates a stronger foundation for long-term profitability. It helps us capture more overnight visitors, extend play time on the casino floor and bring in new audiences for live events and entertainment,” Doyle said.

SPAIN’S LEO MARGETS HAS CHANCE TO BE THE FIRST WOMAN IN POKER HISTORY TO BECOME WORLD CHAMPION

Leonore “Leo” Margets is the first woman to reach the WSOP Main Event final table since Barbara Enright 30 years ago.
The final table of the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event is a historic one, as for the first time in 30 years a woman is among the final nine players competing for poker’s most coveted prize.
Leonore “Leo” Margets, a professional poker player from Barcelona, Spain, will be only the second woman in WSOP history to play at the WSOP Main Event final table since Poker Hall of Fame inductee Barbara Enright finished in fifth place in 1995.
Making the Final Nine of the 2025 WSOP Main Event, Margets has secured at least $1 million in prize money, adding to her over $2 million in recorded live tournament winnings.
Achieving a historic accomplishment that is an overwhelming positive for the game of poker, Margets has an opportunity to make even more history by potentially being the first woman ever to win the WSOP Main Event.
Claiming her lone WSOP bracelet in the $1,500 No Limit Hold’em – The Closer tournament at the 2021 WSOP ($376,850 top prize), Margets’ second career bracelet may be the most prestigious one a poker player can win.
With 16 players remaining during Day 8 of the 2025 WSOP Main Event, nearly the entirety of Margets’ chip stack would enter the pot preflop as she called off a three-bet all-in by Sergio Veloso. Holding pocket jacks to Veloso’s ace-king offsuit, despite an ace arriving on the flop, Margets hit a runner-runner flush to give her not only the chips but the momentum needed to reach the WSOP Main Event final table.
Interviewed by PokerGO sideline reporter Jeff Platt moments after officially reaching the WSOP Main Event final table, Margets, surrounded by adoring supporters, was all smiles as she reflected on her achievement.
“It’s so unreal, it is a dream,” Margets said. “I’m so glad that I’m cheering (with my rail), it means so much. How lucky I am to live this!”
The final table of the 2025 WSOP Main Event will resume at the Las Vegas Horseshoe and Paris on Tuesday, July 15th with action beginning at 1:30 P.M. local time. Poker fans and players can watch the action on PokerGO, as well as on the PokerGO YouTube channel.
