BetWarrior is increasingly growing its presence in Argentina, with the operator securing official sponsorship of the Argentine Soccer team and Las Leonas, Argentina’s national hockey team as well as recently being title sponsors for the 2024 Argentine Open of Tennis.

Betsson Obtains Local Gaming Licenses in Peru

A subsidiary of Betsson AB has obtained its first local licenses for the newly regulated market in Peru. The licenses cover online casino and sports betting for the Betsson and Betsafe brands. Further, licenses for the Inkabet brand are expected to be obtained soon.

Betsson began its Latin American venture already in 2008 and has since then positioned itself as the most recognised sports betting brand in Peru. In 2019, the Group further strengthened its position toward the country with the launch of its Betsafe brand. Two years later Inkabet, a Peruvian-facing sports betting and online casino business, was acquired.

Besides the new licenses, the Group holds licenses in two other key markets in the region, Colombia and Argentina. In Argentina, Betsson holds licenses in Buenos Aires City, Buenos Aires province, and Córdoba.

The games are marking a new milestone in Fennica Gaming’s expansion into the Brazilian market. This also represents a milestone for the Brazilian market and LottoCap, as these casual-gaming-like eInstants are the first of their kind in Brazil.

The journey began at an industry event, where LottoCap’s Felipe Camara and Jorge Luiz de Arruda Ribeiro heard Fennica Gaming’s Joni Hovi give a talk about new innovative eInstants. Immediately afterwards, they visited Fennica Gaming’s colleagues, and discussions began.

– We had a very good start with the discussions and tried to gather a lot of information for LottoCap on how the eInstants work and what kind of player group might be interested in the games. These kinds of games would be totally new in the Brazilian market, and LottoCap was interested in introducing them to its players. Pretty soon, we started talking about technical integrations and came to the point where a clear path was shown for collaboration.
