DiffusionData Joins AWS Partner Network

DiffusionData, the pioneer and leader in real-time data streaming and messaging solutions, today announced that it is now a fully-fledged member of the AWS Partner Network (APN) – a global community of partners that leverages programs, expertise, and resources to build, market, and sell customer offerings. As an APN member, DiffusionData joins a global network of 100,000 partners from more than 150 countries working with AWS to provide innovative solutions, solve technical challenges, and deliver value to customers.
Earlier this year, DiffusionData launched Diffusion 6.9 on Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace, the managed software catalogue that allows businesses to easily access, install and invoice software from trusted, independent vendors. By listing through the AWS Marketplace, organizations that use AWS can streamline the purchase and deployment of Diffusion, giving development teams a simplified way to deploy the framework into their environments.
Andrey Nikishin, Senior Cloud Product Manager at DiffusionData, said: “Our inclusion in the APN and its availability in AWS Marketplace means AWS customers can scale their platform exponentially at lower TCO. Installing a Diffusion Server from the AWS Marketplace is simple – set a couple of options, click a button, and the Diffusion Server will be up and running in the customer’s account. By hosting Diffusion on AWS, we improve the quality of customer experience, as well as provide an opportunity to save money on infrastructure.”
DiffusionData completed the comprehensive AWS Foundational Technical Review (FTR) to validate the enterprise readiness of its intelligent data framework. The FTR is administered by AWS and helps AWS Partners identify AWS Well-Architected best practices specific to their software or solution as established by the AWS Well-Architected Framework for aspects such as security, operational excellence, and sustainability.
DiffusionData’s framework is used by companies worldwide in sectors such as financial services, eGaming, retail, travel and transportation, health and digital media sectors. The framework is purpose-built to simplify and speed data-driven, real-time application development, reduce operational costs, and economically deliver hyper-personalised data. By offering integration with the flexibility and scalability of AWS and pay-as-you-go pricing, businesses can greatly reduce complexity and significantly accelerate their real-time data streaming strategies.

The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) Selects New Board Chair

The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) has announced Chief Tammy Cook-Searson, of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band, as its new Board Chair for SIGA’s Board of Directors.
SIGA is a non-profit First Nation gaming operator for seven land-based casinos and the online gaming platform PlayNow.com in Saskatchewan.
Chief Cook-Searson first joined SIGA’s Board of Directors in 2018 and has been a regular SIGA Board member as well as a member of SIGA’s Audit & Finance Committee.
She is serving in her 20th year as Chief of Lac La Ronge Indian Band and has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree and a graduate diploma in management from Athabasca University. She also holds honorary degrees from the University of Regina, the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT) and Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
Chief Cook-Searson replaces outgoing Board Chair former Chief of Muskowekwan First Nation Reginald Bellerose, who has held the Board Chair position since February 4, 2015.
