In advance of NBA 2K League’s 2023 season, Hawks Talon GC, the official NBA 2K League Affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks, will host its annual media day on Monday, February 13.
Hawks Talon GC will have Head Coach Ismael Diaz-Tolentino (MAELO) as well as its five players – Caesar Martinez (CEEZ), Sam Salyers (GRADIENT), DeJuan Queen (HIDEJUAN), Juan Gonzalez (HOTSHOT), and MarkDavid Smith (MDS) – available for interviews.
In this year’s NBA 2K League Draft, Hawks Talon GC selected MDS with the first overall pick. MDS, a prospect from Chicago, is new to the NBA 2K League in 2023. Prior to the draft, Hawks Talon GC acquired the rights to GRADIENT from Warriors Gaming Squad as part of a three-team trade that sent Hawks Talon’s 31st overall pick to Nets GC. Hawks Talon also acquired a 2024 third round pick from Warriors Gaming Squad in the deal. With the 37th overall pick, Hawks Talon selected HIDEJUAN, a power forward from Dallas. The pick was originally acquired in a trade with Wizards District Gaming in December. HIDEJUAN earned his draft eligibility at the Texas Ticket tournament.

eCOGRA Approved to Operate in Arizona, Indiana and Panama
