BetGames debuts in Canada with Ontario supplier license

Innovative live dealer betting games studio BetGames has reinforced its international reach by obtaining a full registration from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).

Ontario’s rapidly growing market is set to gain one of the industry’s strongest and unique product portfolio, with BetGames’ popular titles such as Lucky 7, Lucky 5 and the exciting Entain exclusive Starzle soon to be available.

A major milestone for the company, BetGames is able to take its popular portfolio live with its biggest operator partners, allowing more players across the world to experience the studio’s next-generation live betting content.

The Ontario market holds great potential and is anticipated to become one of the largest markets in North America. With BetGames’ latest market entry, it is poised to establish itself as a prominent brand within the emerging province.

Commenting on the deal, BetGames’ CEO Andreas Koeberl said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have gained a supplier licence for the Ontario market, allowing us to not only expand our global reach but entertain a new demographic of players with our casino, numbers-betting and sports-betting products.

“Ontario’s regulated market is showing a lot of promise, we’re thrilled to be onboard and be part of the excitement around this recently regulated market.”

After a successful 2021, the company experienced an increase in engagement as a result of its enhanced product line up. The latest announcement allows the company to continue its successful journey and enhance its global footprint in regulated markets.

The latest licence reinforces the innovative studio’s commercial capabilities, with BetGames’ flagship products already licensed across several key markets including South Africa and those governed by the UKGC and MGA.
