PrizePicks Appoints Nick Zabriskie as Senior Vice President of Public Affairs

PrizePicks, the leading sports entertainment operator in North America, today announced the appointment of former Uber executive Nick Zabriskie as the company’s Senior Vice President of Public Affairs.

“Adding a seasoned veteran like Nick is a testament to PrizePicks’ exceptional growth and market presence,” said Jason Barclay, PrizePicks’ Chief Legal Officer and Head of Public Policy. “Nick is the perfect person to lead our public affairs efforts for PrizePicks’ next chapter of innovation. His reputation for ingenuity, integrity, and transparency are the values upon which our advocacy and public policy strategies are built.”

Zabriskie is an accomplished policy executive with experience navigating public affairs in the US and abroad at all levels of government. As one of the earliest members of Uber’s policy team, he helped shape Uber’s public affairs strategies that enabled its amazing growth and success over the last decade. Zabriskie’s accomplishments include supporting state and local laws to expand UberX and ridesharing, reduce drunk driving, create economic opportunity, and lay the foundation for the evolving on-demand economy.

Nick held multiple roles supporting Uber’s global businesses, including as Head of Marketplace Policy, Head of Policy for Self-Driving initiatives, and roles on the Work and Economic Policy team. Prior to Uber, Zabriskie was a Capitol Hill veteran having served as the Director of Government Relations at Capitol Hill Consulting Group, a federal affairs consultancy, and a staff member in the United States House of Representatives.

Zabriskie said, “I am thrilled to build upon the inroads that the PrizePicks team has made these past several years. The team has done an incredible job of creating innovative products and putting customers at the forefront, delivering the ultimate sports entertainment experience. PrizePicks has a huge opportunity ahead to serve even more people while maintaining the highest standards of player protection and compliance.”

As PrizePicks continues to grow its footprint nationwide, it remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of compliance, integrity, and Responsible Gaming. In 2025, the company earned iCAP accreditation from the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG), becoming the first and only fantasy sports operator to receive this certification.
