Betano, Kaizen Gaming’s international online sports betting and gaming brand, is announcing a series of social responsibility initiatives and donations to FADeC (the Argentine Federation of Sports for the Blind), with the aim of promoting and expanding inclusive football throughout Argentina. This collaboration represents a significant investment in equipment and talent that will substantially improve the opportunities for sports development for hundreds of athletes in the country.
The impact of this donation extends to more than 30 clubs across the country, directly benefiting over 900 people involved in the sport. Betano’s initiative includes the provision of essential equipment and infrastructure. Key items donated include 200 sound balls, as well as the installation of new pitch barriers, two sideline tents, and a transport trailer, all designed to optimise training and competition conditions.
Betano Introduces New Scholarships to Support Emerging Athletes
This collaboration also includes direct support for 10 promising athletes from Fadec. These 10 athletes will receive one-year development scholarships, designed to boost their careers, empowering them to participate at the highest levels of national and international competition. Furthermore, this support will offer a unique opportunity for their holistic development, as it will facilitate professional training for the athletes. This strategic partnership underscores Betano’s commitment to promoting sport as a tool for social inclusion in Argentina. It also launches Betano’s social responsibility activities in Argentina, paving the way for more development programs to come.
Álvaro Ferreres, Kaizen Gaming Country Manager for Argentina stated: “We support and back initiatives that have a positive impact on the community, because that commitment is part of who we are. We are proud and excited about this partnership with Fadec, which seeks to transform lives through adapted sports by offering new opportunities in terms of infrastructure and, in this case, in the development of the Las Murciélagas and Los Murciélagos teams – the Women’s and Men’s blind football national teams of Argentina. We believe that sport has the power to unite, inspire, and change realities. For this reason, we will continue working on projects that promote this message.”
The support program, in numbers:
- 2 sideline tents that benefit more than 1,000 people from all Fadec teams who train at the National High-Performance Sports Center (Cenard).
- 1 transport trailer that improves travel logistics for more than 1,000 athletes in federal and national competitions.
- 200 sound-emitting balls distributed among 30 adapted soccer teams across the country, reaching more than 900 athletes.
- Comprehensive medical coverage for 24 members of the Argentine National Blind Soccer Teams, Los Murciélagos (The Bats).
- Personalised support for 10 athletes, covering basic needs, training, and tournament participation.
David Peralta, president of the Federation said: “We celebrate building these partnerships that allow us to support and empower people with disabilities who embrace adapted sports. Los Murciélagos are a source of pride for us and for all of Argentina. We work so that, through their example of commitment, professionalism, and passion, more blind and visually impaired people fall in love with sports, which is a powerful tool for inclusion.”
