Great Canadian Entertainment Achieves RG Check Reaccreditation for 10 Casinos Across Canada

Great Canadian Entertainment announced that 10 of its casinos from coast to coast have successfully achieved RG Check reaccreditation, one of the world’s most comprehensive and rigorous responsible gambling accreditation programs.

RG Check is governed by the Responsible Gambling Council (RGC), an independent non-profit organization recognized internationally for advancing responsible gambling standards. The program evaluates gaming facilities on a broad set of best-practice criteria, including player safeguards, staff training, self-exclusion options, advertising standards, and continuous improvement practices. Accreditation is awarded only to organizations that demonstrate a firm commitment to protecting players and promoting a sustainable gaming environment.

As part of the RG Check reaccreditation, Great Canadian’s properties were carefully evaluated on their Responsible Gambling programs, employee training, as well as player awareness and protection initiatives. The review determined that Great Canadian stands out as a leader in Responsible Gambling, reinforcing its strong track record in promoting responsible play and ongoing dedication to player well-being. As of September 2025, one of the sites accredited, Elements Casino Surrey, ranked #1 in Canada and #2 internationally in its RG Check scoring, reaffirming Great Canadian’s high standards for player protection. Several of the company’s other casinos currently enrolled in the RG Check program will undergo the reaccreditation process later this year and in 2026 as part of their annual assessment cycle.
