PrizePicks Awarded Gaming License in New York
Leading Sports Entertainment Operator to Re-Enter State with Peer-to-Peer Offering
PrizePicks, the leading sports entertainment operator in North America, announced today that it has been awarded an interactive fantasy sports operating license by the New York State Gaming Commission. PrizePicks will launch its peer-to-peer offering in New York in the coming weeks.

Following a legal settlement with the New York Gaming Commission in 2024, PrizePicks worked closely with state gaming regulators to ensure that its new peer-to-peer contests comply with New York’s strict fantasy sports requirements that were expanded by the Commission in 2023. New York becomes the 16th jurisdiction to formally ratify that PrizePicks’ contests can be offered as games of skill under its fantasy sports laws.

In 2025, PrizePicks was awarded iCAP accreditation by the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) for its Responsible Gaming practices and efforts, becoming the first and only fantasy sports operator to earn the certification.
