PrizePicks Unveils New Social Features with Launch of “The Feed”

PrizePicks, the leading sports entertainment operator in North America, announced the launch of new app features that will evolve how fans engage with friends, celebrities, and the PrizePicks community while watching sports. The new social features combine PrizePicks’ recently launched player profiles with a first-of-its-kind social feed that allows players to see and interact with picks their peers are making in real time, bringing debates out of the group chat and into the PrizePicks app.

“We’re advancing the daily fantasy sports world forward into its next phase, blending how fans socialize online with how they root for their favorite players on gameday. These social features create an interactive experience that allows players to build lineups, ride with their favorite celebrities and flex their knowledge with their friends, all within the PrizePicks app,” said Dylan Cooper, PrizePicks SVP of Product.

On PrizePicks, players can now:

Search & Follow Friends with Player Profiles

PrizePicks’ recently unveiled player profile feature allows users to create their own unique username and see their lifetime stats on the PrizePicks app. The Feed brings this feature to life, as players can now search for and follow the profiles of users throughout the community, creating an enhanced social experience on PrizePicks.

Copy and React to Lineups

With PrizePicks Feed, users can copy a lineup and ride with their friends, celebrities or anyone with a profile on PrizePicks. As players build their following, they will be able to see their friends’ submitted lineups as they appear in the Feed in real time. Players will be able to react to their friends’ picks with a like or dislike, or copy the lineup into their lineup builder.

Shareable Lineups and Profiles

In addition to The Feed, players can create a link within the PrizePicks app to share their lineup with friends or on social media. The feature will allow users to brag about their PrizePicks stats, post receipts ahead of game time and bring friends along for the ride to copy their picks within the app.
