The fairy-build crew have clocked back in. Lenny the Leprechaun’s on scaffolding duty, keeping one eye on the Double Wheel while three specialists get to work: Woody Elf (all things timber), Grout Bricky (brick by brick), and Fairy Mary (a touch of gold). OLG Advances Inclusion with First-of-its-kind Accessible iCasino Game

OLG Begins Process to Invest in New Technology Platform

OLG has begun the process of selecting a technology platform provider to replace aging, back-end lottery technology systems. On May 31, 2024, a Request for Proposal (RFP) was posted on MERXTM to initiate this work.

The future implementation of a new lottery platform will give OLG the foundation needed to capitalize on emerging technological trends and offer market-leading products and experiences. The benefits include greater innovation, faster time-to-market and new, exciting ways to play the lottery. These changes will allow OLG to keep pace with evolving customer expectations in the ever-changing Ontario gaming market.

While there will be no immediate impact to OLG’s services and offerings, this investment will lay the groundwork for OLG to continue to deliver strong profits back to Ontario communities in the long run.

As with all OLG’s procurement activities, the RFP process follows provincial procurement guidelines and directives. OLG has engaged the services of a Fairness Monitor to provide oversight and advice to support integrity and fairness.
