iCleanse Partners with Mohegan Sun

iCleanse has partnered with Mohegan Sun to deploy 15 Swift UV units across the property. These units offer rapid smartphone disinfection using ultraviolet (UV) light technology alongside targeted digital advertising.

The partnership between iCleanse and Mohegan Sun aims to enhance health and safety measures within the resort. The Swift UV devices are designed to disinfect smartphones, which are known to harbor various pathogens, including Covid-19, RSV, and influenza, within 15 seconds.

This initiative is particularly relevant during the cold and flu season, providing guests with an added layer of protection.

Chris Allen, CEO of iCleanse, said: “Our partnership with Mohegan Sun represents another milestone in adopting Swift UV technology. By combining ultraviolet technology with place-based advertising, we deliver dual benefit to any merchant or organisation with public space.”

The Swift UV units installed throughout Mohegan Sun will not only disinfect smartphones but also display site-specific promotional videos during the disinfection process. These units can be found in various high-traffic areas within the property, including casinos, the Mohegan Sun Arena, the Shops at Mohegan Sun, and the Sky Tower hotel lobby.

Kimberly Noto, CMO of Mohegan Sun, said: “We chose Swift UV units based on their easy deployment, efficient operation and ability to have additional on-site advertising for our entertainment offerings and promos. By providing multiple Swift UV units, we’re helping to ensure a healthier environment for all of our guests while benefitting our more than 70 restaurants, bars, lounges and retail offerings that make our resort such a unique experience.”
