IGT Becomes First US Industry Supplier to Achieve G4 Responsible Gaming Accreditation for Sports Betting

International Game Technology PLC (IGT) has announced that it has become the first U.S. supplier in the gaming industry to receive Global Gambling Guidance Group (G4) responsible gaming accreditation for its sports betting operations.
With this monumental achievement from G4, IGT is certified in responsible gaming across its four product segments encompassing lottery, gaming, digital and betting.
“IGT’s proactive approach to responsible gaming and achieving prestigious G4 certifications sets the pace for the entire industry to go above and beyond what state regulation mandates when it comes to player protection. As sports betting continues its expansion across the US, IGT is actively demonstrating that it is now more important than ever to exercise strong responsible gaming support. We are honored to be the first industry supplier to achieve sports betting responsible gaming accreditation and we look forward to working with our customers to implement our best-in-class solutions for their players,” Joe Asher, IGT President of Sports Betting, said.
“G4 applauds IGT for making responsible gaming a top priority across all of its business verticals. G4 appreciates having IGT as an accredited member and glad to see the company continue leading the gaming industry with its responsible gaming initiatives,” Pieter Remmers, Chairman of the G4 Board of Directors, said.
G4 aims to minimize the impact of problem gaming by promoting a worldwide accreditation program for the remote and e-gambling industry and operators. This certification ensures that IGT has a responsible gaming code of practice that includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Corporate practices that are born from a strong management commitment to responsible gaming;
- Practices and policies that support a responsible gaming framework;
- Player protection information;
- An advertising and marketing code of principles for responsible gaming;
- Employee training and support on responsible gaming policies;
- Player protection tools such as player-led time and money limits, self-exclusion and age verification; and
- Third-party research and its application for improving responsible gaming tools and approaches.
IGT received G4 responsible gaming certification for its gaming operations in 2017 and its digital solutions in 2019. Additionally, IGT’s lottery and iLottery businesses are certified by the World Lottery Association (WLA) for WLA’s Corporate Social Responsibility Standards and Responsible Gaming Framework for Suppliers.

WA. Technology Receives GLI Certification in Brazil for Casino Aggregator Product

Certification for its standalone casino aggregator product allows WA Technology to increase its range of integrated iGaming content supplied to operators in the Brazilian market.
This ever-expanding catalogue of content includes tens of thousands of games, cementing it as a more trusted partner for operators seeking to thrive in this market, with the added assurance that it fully complies with Brazilian regulatory requirements.
Meeting the necessary requirements for the casino product builds on WA Technology’s strong record in the region, where it already has an established presence and certified platform, with an experienced team of professionals based out of an office in Recife. This gives the business a unique understanding of the players in the country and the team to simplify any complexities that may arise for operators.
The certification follows on from recent launches such as its Pick’Em player products for stats-led gameplay and Sportsbook Managed Service, to provide operators with more services and opportunities to grow.
Country Director for Brazil said: “This is a significant milestone for the business and signals our intent to expand further into the Brazilian market. I’m proud of the team’s hard work to secure this certificate and allow us to meet the market demands for casino games within this region.

Oddin.gg Officially Registered with LOTBA as a Supplier in the City of Buenos Aires

Oddin.gg has been officially registered as a supplier by the Lottery of the City of Buenos Aires (LOTBA). This authorization clears the way for Oddin.gg to provide its end-to-end esports betting ecosystem—including its Odds Feed, Risk Management, BetBuilder, Widgets, and more—to licensed operators in the City of Buenos Aires. The milestone reinforces Oddin.gg’s strategic focus on supporting partners across Latin America.
LOTBA, the regulatory authority for online gaming within the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, is well known for its rigorous compliance and technical standards. Oddin.gg’s successful registration confirms that it has met all relevant technical, financial, and compliance requirements.
Juana Bischoff, Senior Business Development Manager LATAM at Oddin.gg, said: “Being officially registered with LOTBA marks an important step in Oddin.gg’s long-term commitment to the Latin American market. Esports is gaining real traction across the region, and we want operators in Buenos Aires—and beyond—to have the tools and insight to deliver a top-tier esports betting experience. We’re not just bringing leading technology—we’re bringing the local expertise and regulatory awareness needed to help our partners like Betsson and Jugadon grow.”
