Nevada Casino Revenue Over $1B for Tenth Month

 

The Nevada Gaming Control Board has shared its financial results for the last month of the year 2021, reporting that Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees saw a total gaming win of $1.15bn. The figure for December was up 68.23% year-on-year, and gaming win for July 1 through December 31 increased by 60.43%.

The total gaming win for 2021 was up 12% from $12bn to $13.4bn when compared to 2019. The figure was also up 72% from the $7.8bn recorded in 2020 amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Clark County accounted for $998.4m of the $1.15bn total, up 79% from December 2020. Within the county, revenue for the Las Vegas strip rose 123% year over year to $650.7m. Table, counter, and card games accounted for $363.9m, while slot machines accounted for the other $786.2m.
