Indiana Grand to Launch Sports Betting on September 1

 

Indiana Grand Racing and Casino is going to launch legalised sports betting on September 1.

That date, which is tentative, would open sports betting in Shelbyville two days before Caesar’s Entertainment opens betting at the Winner’s Circle on Pennsylvania Street in downtown Indianapolis.

Horseshoe Hammond Casino is set to open “The Book” on September 4, also in time for the start of the NFL’s regular season on September 5.

Caesar’s also announced sports betting would begin at Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing and Casino on September 19. “The Book” is a brand-new construction overlooking the facility’s race track and offer state-of-the-art audio and visual technology, in addition to access to food and beverages.

Off-track betting properties in Clarksville, New Haven and Fort Wayne will also start offering sports betting in October.
