Regg Named NBA 2K League Player of the Week

Bucks Gaming point guard Reginald “Regg” Nash has been named the NBA 2K League Player of the Week for Week 10, the league announced.

In five games during two series last week, Regg averaged 31.0 points, 8.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game while shooting 58.9% from the field and 53.3% from three. The highlight of Regg’s week came in the first game of Bucks Gaming’s series against Kings Guard Gaming when he dropped 50 points on 22-for-28 (.786) shooting from the field, including a 5-for-7 (.714) mark from deep.

In his first season in the NBA 2K League, Regg currently ranks third in the league in scoring (33.1 ppg) and third in assists per game (8.5), making him the only player in the NBA 2K League to rank inside the top three of both categories. Selected with the 12th overall pick in this year’s draft, Regg is also shooting 58.9% overall and 45.3% from three this season. He’s helped Bucks Gaming go 7-6 so far during the 2020 season, which is tied for the ninth-best record in the 23-team league.

Bucks Gaming is back in action this week as it takes part in THE TURN, a single-elimination tournament featuring all 23 teams with $260,000 in prize money on the line. Bucks Gaming, the No. 10 seed in the tournament, will take on the 23rd seed, Celtics Crossover Gaming, in their first series on Wednesday at 5 p.m. CT.
