OpenBet Extends BCLC Partnership with Platform Integration for PlayNow’s Saskatchewan offering
OpenBet, a global leader in betting entertainment, has strengthened its long-term partnership with British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) after the Lottery Operator delivered its PlayNow.com brand to the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA).
PlayNow.com is now live in Saskatchewan with OpenBet’s omni-channel Player Account Management platform and market leading sports betting technology, which BCLC has combined with a wide range of third-party content delivering best-in-class Gaming and Sports betting experiences to players across the province.
The launch follows an agreement whereby BCLC provides SIGA with the province’s first legal, regulated, online sports betting and gaming platform. It offers safe and secure online gaming and betting entertainment for players, with OpenBet facilitating an array of safer gambling tools.
OpenBet’s partnership with BCLC has set a standard for betting and gaming for World Lottery Association (WLA) members, with the full suite of OpenBet’s platform, technology and services driving growth that has consistently outperformed the black market.

INTRALOT Announces New Project with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation for Online Lottery Platform
INTRALOT S.A. has announced the undertaking of a new project between the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC), the sole lottery operator for the Government of British Columbia in Canada, and INTRALOT Inc., its US subsidiary, for the provision of an online lottery platform. The project also includes the digitalization of the existing land-based network.
The solution will be based on the Player X platform, part of the Lotos X ecosystem, and adds to the company’s overall partnership with BCLC, which has been extended until 2028.

IAGR announces Toronto as host city for 2025 conference
Hot on the heels of its most attended conference in history, the International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR) is excited to announce that its 2025 conference will take place in Toronto, Canada, from October 20 to 23, 2025.
The event will be held in partnership with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) at the Westin Harbour Castle, offering stunning waterfront views and a premier, downtown Toronto location.
