Saracen Launches Mobile Sports Betting

Saracen Casino Resort has launched its BetSaracen mobile sports betting app and has become the second gaming company in Arkansas to accept mobile wagers.

Saracen is also accepting wagers through the BetSaracen website.

The casino in Pine Bluff, owned by the Quapaw Nation of Oklahoma, said it partnered with Amelco UK Limited of London to develop the betting platform.

“Our Saracen Team has worked day and night for months to finally bring a first-class, Arkansas-based Sports Wagering App platform to the state’s many sports fans,” Carlton Saffa, Saracen’s chief market officer, said.

The launch comes later than expected for Saracen. When mobile sports betting became legal in Arkansas on March 4, it appeared the casino would be able to accept wagers in time for the NCAA’s March Madness basketball tournament. But the launch was delayed as Saracen waited, week after week, on final approval from the App Store.
