Oregon Lottery to Launch its Online Sports Betting Game in October

The Oregon Lottery is going to launch sports betting in the second week of October. Scoreboard is the new online sports betting game from the Oregon Lottery, which will allow players to bet on professional sports online.

“This is the first time that the lottery has entered into an e-commerce game. This will be the first time we’ve offered a game — an Oregon lottery game — available online,” Chuck Baumann of the Oregon Lottery said.

Scoreboard will allow people in Oregon to bet on professional football, basketball, tennis, baseball, soccer, golf and NASCAR. Those who wish to place bets will be able to do so through the lottery’s website and on mobile.

Baumann said that the game platform is complete, but that the Oregon Lottery is still testing player accounts to ensure financial transactions. The lottery wants to launch the app after making sure that all transactions are ready to go.
