Maverick Gaming continues acquisitions

Maverick Gaming signed a definitive purchase agreement with CC Gaming for the acquisition of the Red Lion Casino, Gold Country Casino and High Desert Inn, Nevada, US. As per the deal, Maverick Gaming will get 435 slots, 11 table games and 544 hotel rooms.

The one-year-old Maverick was started by two Vegas veterans, Eric Persson who was with Las Vegas Sands and Justin Beltram, previously with Bellagio and Marin Bay Sands. They already own the Wendover Nugget and Red Garter hotels in Nevada.

The new deal improves Maverick’s position in the northern Nevada market, notably in Elko where the Red Lion is situated.
