Demolition Derby returns to CORE Arena at the Plaza Hotel & Casino Action-packed, family-friendly four-day event starts April 7
 The thrilling, high-adrenaline entertainment of a demolition derby returns to the CORE Arena at the Plaza Hotel & Casino Tuesday, April 7 through Friday, April 10, from 4 to 9 p.m. each day. Tickets for the Sin City Showdown Demolition Derby produced by Stirrin’ Dirt Racing, the largest demolition derby promoter in the west, are now on sale online .
“We are excited to have the demolition derby back at the Plaza,” said Jonathan Jossel, CEO of the Plaza Hotel & Casino. “Our CORE Arena is the perfect location for the exciting action-filled event that is fun for all ages. Stirrin’ Dirt Racing has sold out each of its demotion derbies at the Plaza in the past so we expect a packed audience next month.”
Stirrin’ Dirt Racing is a production company created by Johnny Gullo and Jim “Gumby” Simko in 1999 to raise the level of the sport of demolition derby by increasing the payouts to the drivers. Over the years, Stirrin’ Dirt Racing has expanded into producing Monster Truck events and music concerts, providing stunt driving and vehicles to movies, music videos, photo shoots and television shows, such as Top Gear, Dr. Who, and Johnny Christ. It has also raised more than $1 million for charity through its projects and work with the American Dream Foundation.
