Scientific Games Releases Annual Sustainability Report Highlighting Progress in Responsibility, Innovation and Global Impact
Scientific Games announces the publication of its annual Sustainability Report, highlighting achievements in environmental stewardship, responsible gaming, employee well-being, community impact, and product innovation. The report underscores the global lottery company’s ongoing commitment to responsible growth and creating long-term value for its partners and the communities it serves.

The annual Sustainability Report highlights progress across all areas of corporate responsibility—from advancing climate action and designing sustainable products to supporting employee development and strengthening community partnerships.
Key highlights of the Scientific Games annual Sustainability Report include:
- Community Engagement: Helped contribute more than USD$100 billion in good cause funding for education, healthcare, environmental protection and social programs worldwide. Local initiatives supported by the company and its employees included food security programs in North America and Europe, an urban farm in Montreal and disaster relief in the U.S.
- Empowering Employees: Expanded inclusion, belonging and respect initiatives, enhanced recognition and learning programs, and continued to promote well-being and safety. In 2024, employees participated in the fourth annual SG Runs Global Virtual 5K across 16 countries and the fifth annual Scientific Games Awards.
- Healthy Play & Lottery Literacy: Strengthened responsible gaming leadership through new global research, expanded internet responsible gaming standards and advanced certification, and received continued recognition from industry bodies.
- Environmental Stewardship: Expanded greenhouse gas emissions tracking across global facilities, continued rollout of the company’s decarbonization plan for Scopes 1–3, adopted renewable energy at multiple sites and achieved measurable improvements in energy efficiency.
- Sustainable Products & Circular Economy: Advanced the use of recyclable and responsibly sourced materials, including the award-winning Le Billet Vert scratch game in partnership with Loto-Québec, Sustana Papers and Recyc-Québec, and launched new innovations such as the WAVE Contour lottery retailer terminal designed for end-of-life recyclability.
