PrizePicks and Mindway AI Team Up to Strengthen Player Safety and Promote Healthier Play
PrizePicks, the leading sports entertainment operator in North America, announced that it has partnered with Mindway AI, a leading safer gaming software company that provides automated detection and monitoring of at-risk and problem gaming behavior. The partnership will bring Mindway’s innovative technology directly into the PrizePicks platform, enhancing the company’s ability to detect and respond to potential problem gaming behaviors across the player lifecycle.
“Partnering with Mindway marks a meaningful evolution in how we support player protection,” said Phil Sherwood, Senior Director of Responsible Gaming at PrizePicks. “By enhancing our ability to analyze behavioral data, we’re able to deliver more tailored interventions and promote responsible play tools with greater precision—helping ensure a safer, more sustainable experience for all of our players.”
Integrating Mindway AI’s GameScanner allows PrizePicks to implement dynamic behavioral analytics across its platform. This enables the proactive identification of nuanced player patterns, such as shifts towards more frequent play, increased session frequency, or accelerated spending, which may signal escalating risk. These data-driven insights facilitate more timely interventions, increasing player self-awareness through timely, personalized nudges and reminders regarding responsible gaming behaviors and budget-setting tools.
“Today marks an exciting day for our company,” said Rasmus Kjaergaard, CEO of Mindway AI. “Partnering with PrizePicks signifies a hugely positive step for player protection not only in the daily fantasy sports realm but in the North American market as a whole. We are proud and rearing to go on our journey with PrizePicks, which we are fully confident will lead to solid outcomes for both risk minimization for their players but also increased commercial benefit for PrizePicks.”
The partnership also enhances PrizePicks’ ability to thoughtfully promote support resources like Kindbridge Behavioral Health and tools such as timeouts and self-exclusion options. Customer support representatives will now be equipped with a more holistic understanding of individual player needs during interactions, ensuring proper guidance is issued and ultimately contributing to a safer and more supportive environment.
As PrizePicks continues to expand to new markets, investment into responsible gaming remains a key focus. In 2025, PrizePicks was awarded iCAP accreditation by the NCPG for its responsible gaming practices and efforts, becoming the first and only fantasy sports operator to earn the certification.
