Livespins now available at Chile’s Betsala
Players can dive into the award-winning Bet with Streamers game, offering a socially charged experience where they bet alongside streamers for dynamic, real-time gameplay.
Players at Betsala can enjoy a socially charged experience like no other after the leading online sportsbook and casino in Chile put pen to paper on a deal to bring Livespins to its lobby for the very first time.
Livespins has revolutionised the way players engage with online casino and slots with its “Bet with Streamers” game which sits in the casino lobby and allows players to join a selection of streams at any given time.
Not only do players get to watch the streamer as they spin the reels on top-tier slot games, but they can bet with the streamer, too. If the streamer wins, they win – it’s that simple.
This creates a group bet and shared experience while still choosing your own bet and number of spins, offering a high level of personalization.
Livespins is all about social interaction with players able to chat with each other and the streamer throughout – they can also drop emojis, reactions and gifs based on the action taking place across the reels.
Betsala has become one of the most popular online sportsbook and casino brands in Chile, with the addition of Livespins allowing it to further differentiate from its competition and deliver a new, exciting online casino experience to its players.
Michael Pedersen, Chief Commercial Officer at Livespins, said: “Players at Betsala can look forward to a thrilling online casino experience, with Livespins combining the excitement of slot gameplay and streaming in a unique way.
“We’re excited to bring the Livespins experience to Chile for the first time at Betsala, and can’t wait for players to try it out.”
Albert Bellavista, CEO at Betsala, added: “We have become the go-to destination for online casino players in Chile because we have always embraced innovative content and experiences, and this deal with Livespins is a testament to that.
“Bet with Streamers offers a socially charged online casino experience like no other and we are confident that our players will be drawn to the thrilling gameplay, led by the streamer, and the option to bet on the action taking place across the reels.
“It’s a truly unique combination that promises to put players on the edge of their seats game round after game round.”

Arizona Department of Gaming Cease-and-Desist: Bovada Online Gambling
The Arizona Department of Gaming (“ADG”) has taken action against an overseas gaming company in Curaçao that is allegedly operating illegal online gaming sites, Bovada.com and Bovada.lv (Bovada), accessible to Arizona residents. Following an investigation into the matter, the ADG sent a cease-and-desist letter to Harp Media B.V., which operates Bovada, on November 8, 2024.
The operation of Bovada in Arizona is alleged to be a felony criminal enterprise and Bovada has been directed to desist from any future illegal gambling operations or activities of any type in Arizona. Due to the unregulated and illegal online gaming offerings on Bovada, Harp Media B.V. is claimed to be in violation of Arizona gaming laws, including:
- Promotion of Gambling (Felony) — Ariz. Rev. Stat. Ann. § 13-3303.
- Illegal Control of an Enterprise (Felony) — Ariz. Rev. Stat. Ann. § 13-2312.
- Money Laundering (Felony) — Ariz. Rev. Stat. Ann. § 13-2317.
Harp Media B.V. has been directed to immediately cease all online (or other) gambling operations and activities in Arizona, and take the necessary steps to immediately prevent and exclude Arizona residents from gambling on their websites.
“We are actively monitoring the evolving landscape of online gaming and taking proactive steps like this helps us protect Arizona’s communities and economy from illegal activities,” said Jackie Johnson, Director of the ADG. “Our enforcement team is committed to preventing unauthorized operations from establishing a foothold here. Arizona will not be a safe haven for unlicensed or unlawful gaming, nor will we allow unlawful entities to compromise the integrity of gaming within our state.”
In light of these developments, the Arizona Department of Gaming urges residents to exercise caution with online gaming activities. Only legal, regulated operations provide important consumer protections not found in the illegal market, helping ensure a safer experience for participants. Certain online event wagering is legal in Arizona. A list of all licensed and regulated event wagering operators legally taking bets in Arizona can be found on the Department’s website at gaming.az.gov.

Gift Responsibly: Lottery Tickets Aren’t Child’s Play
While sharing gifts with family and friends is a wonderful tradition during the holiday season, Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) reminds parents and adults that all lottery products, including INSTANT tickets, are a form of gambling and are not suitable gifts for children and minors.
While lottery products make great gift ideas for a variety of special occasions, these products are for adults only. It’s vital that parents and adults understand the proven risks and impacts associated with underage gambling. If you decide to buy lottery gifts for friends and family, please ensure the recipients are at least 18 years of age and older.
There is extensive free information and various resources available dealing with youth and gambling:
The YMCA Youth Gambling Awareness Program (YGAP) is a free service funded by Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care to raise awareness among youth of gambling risks, how to make informed decisions, and healthy, active lifestyles.
The Gambling, Gaming and Technology Use (GGTU) program at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) supports addictions and mental health service providers through continuing professional development, digital tools and resources, and facilitating knowledge mobilization activities related to problem gambling, video gaming, and internet addiction.
The Responsible Gambling Council (RGC), an independent non-profit organization focused on the prevention of problem gambling in Canada and worldwide, with information on Teens or Young Adults and gambling.
Also, OLG’s award winning PlaySmart.ca program can help parents understand the facts when it comes to games, and concepts like odds and randomness. There’s also a “Finding Help” section with links to the support resources above and more.
OLG has supported the Holiday Campaign from the National Council of Problem Gambling and the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL) for many years, which encourages lotteries in Canada, US, and around the world to promote the important message that lottery products are not suitable for children at any time.
