Salsa Studio expands localised LatAm content portfolio with Melcochita Bingo release

Salsa Technology has solidified its standout localised LatAm content portfolio with the release of its Melcochita Video Bingo title in Salsa Gator, Salsa’s aggregator platform. Melcochita Video Bingo, a game by Salsa Studio, is based on the much-loved Peruvian comedian who invites players into a virtual comedy club for feel-good entertainment and plenty of laughs.

Melcochita Bingo is a 90-ball Video Bingo game, which can be played with a maximum of four 5×3 tickets per game. There are as many as 10 different winning prize patterns, on top of the classic lines and Bingo prizes. Players have a chance to win an extra 10 balls per draw to help complete patterns. A jackpot prize is on offer for players taking up for the challenge of completing the Bingo pattern with only the initial draw.

In May, Betmotion entered the Peruvian market with the branded Melcochita game following a collaborative partnership with Salsa Studio. The results during that period have seen an impressive 316% increase in total rounds month-on-month and gaming sessions increase 36% month-on-month.

Salsa Technology’s COO, Alberto Alfieri said: “Salsa’s unrivalled experience in Latin America means we’re able to produce localised content that we know players love. Melcochita is an icon in Peru and we’re pleased to support our partners’ growth by adding the Video Bingo title to our aggregator platform. The engagement figures we’ve seen from Betmotion really show the impact of a localised strategy.”

Premium esports betting solution supplier expands presence in the growing Brazilian market

DATA.BET has successfully concluded its first-ever stand appearance at BiS SiGMA Americas 2025, one of the largest iGaming events in the region, held on April 8-10 in São Paulo, Brazil. The event took place in Transamerica Expo and brought together over 17,500 participants.

The company made a strong impression with its dedicated expo booth, where representatives engaged with local operators and business partners to discuss development opportunities in the growing LatAm market. CBF Extends Exclusive Integrity Partnership with Sportradar

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) and Sportradar Integrity & Regulatory Services, a unit of Sportradar AG announced the extension of their long-standing partnership, set to begin with the 2025 season. The new agreement aims to enhance efforts to combat match-fixing in Brazilian football and safeguard the integrity of the sport.

Sportradar, through its industry-leading Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS), will deliver integrity monitoring for more than 8200 men’s and women’s matches organized annually by the CBF. Through this renewed partnership, the UFDS will now cover all Brazilian national championships.

The renewal of the partnership comes at an important time in the fight against match-fixing. According to the Integrity in Action 2024 Global Analysis & Trends published by Sportradar in early 2025, the number of matches suspected of being manipulated worldwide fell by 17% in 2024. Notably, in 2024, Brazil experienced a significant decline in the number of suspicious soccer matches, with 53 fewer cases detected – a decrease of 48% – compared to the previous year.

Ednaldo Rodrigues, President of the CBF, said: “Strengthening the integrity of Brazilian football is a priority for this administration, and the renewal of this partnership further reinforces our commitment to this mission. The work of the CBF’s Integrity Unit, in collaboration with Sportradar, will complement monitoring by FIFA and result in more than 10,000 Brazilian football matches being covered this season. It’s an impressive and symbolic milestone that makes us very proud. This is a partnership that has been bearing fruit and has been crucial in the fight against match-fixing, ensuring a fairer and safer environment for the sport.”

Andreas Krannich, Executive Vice President of Integrity & Regulatory Services at Sportradar, said: “We have built a strong collaboration with CBF to reinforce the integrity of Brazilian football. With this new agreement, Sportradar is providing the most comprehensive coverage Brazilian football has ever had. We are very pleased to continue this partnership with one of the world’s most-renowned football organizations.”

The continuing partnership with CBF, which began in 2018, underscores Sportradar’s commitment to protecting global football from potential integrity threats. This effort joins existing agreements established with leading football organizations including CONMEBOL, FIFA, UEFA, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), and the Colombian Football Federation (FCF), as well as more than 270 other sports organizations and government authorities.
