Sightline Payments Celebrates 15 years, Completes Management and Shareholder Led Recapitalization

Leading gaming fintech company Sightline Payments celebrates its 15th year and announced the completion of a recapitalization process that fully enables Sightline to revolutionize the gaming industry through innovative financial technology solutions.
Most major Sightline investors recommitted to the business through the recapitalization process, including Cannae Holdings, NRT Technology, Genting, Founding Investor Walter Kortschak, co-Founders Harry Hagerty and Diran Kludjian, and Point Break Capital Management, amongst others. The reconstituted Sightline Board of Directors will also include NRT Founder and CEO John Dominelli and President Michael Dominelli.
Throughout its 15 year history, Sightline has delivered many groundbreaking payments innovations in gaming including supporting the first online gaming transactions in New Jersey in 2013, the first mobile sports betting payment transactions in Nevada in 2014, the first floor-wide cashless gaming at a Tribal casino in 2015, and the first cashless casino transactions in Nevada in 2021. These innovations have helped fuel the rise of the $30 billion U.S. digital gaming industry and advanced omnichannel payments across all gaming verticals. Today, Sightline supports more than 70 partners across the casino, digital, horse racing and lottery industries in 44 states.
“As the gaming industry continues to change, we at Sightline want to focus on what we do best – payments innovation. This enables us to continue to deliver on our 15 year legacy, and I can’t wait to bring some of the innovations we see across the fintech marketplace to gaming. I want to thank all of our investors for their commitment to Sightline and our partners who have and continue to believe in us,” said Sightline co-Founder and CEO Omer Sattar.
Sattar continued: “The appointment of John Dominelli as Chair and Michael Dominelli to the Board of Directors signifies a pivotal step in strengthening the delivery of product at Sightline. As leaders at NRT Technology, John and Michael bring a wealth of industry expertise and leadership that will drive innovation and growth. Their roles on the Board reinforce our commitment to collaborative success and reflects the confidence both companies and our shareholders have in this partnership.”
“I’ve had the pleasure of being an early investor in Sightline and have seen firsthand what the organization can do with the right tools. With this new organizational focus, Sightline can further introduce the next generation of innovative payments tools for the gaming industry,” said John Dominelli.
“For over a decade, Sightline has led the charge in revolutionizing payments for the gaming industry, consistently delivering cutting-edge solutions. The gaming industry is primed for groundbreaking payment solutions, and with the same visionary approach that first propelled Sightline into the space over a decade ago, I have no doubt they will continue to pioneer innovative ways to transform this market,” said Walter Kortschak, Senior Advisor at Summit Partners and longtime Sightline investor and Board member.

Indian Gaming Association Introduces TribalBond Connections Program

The Indian Gaming Association is introducing TribalBond, an exciting new initiative designed to foster meaningful connections between tribal gaming casino executives and solution providers at this year’s Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention, taking place March 31-April 3 in San Diego, CA. This innovative program will feature a dynamic “speed networking” format, aimed at creating efficient, valuable interactions and personalized experiences for participants.
As the largest gathering of tribal leaders and casino executives in the country, the Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention is the meeting place where the community gathers to learn, network, and create new connections. TribalBond was created with tribal casino executives in mind, designed to bring operators and solution providers together through structured meeting sessions that cater specifically to their unique needs. By facilitating targeted networking opportunities, TribalBond empowers attendees to build connections, share insights, and unlock new opportunities. A special focus will be put on equipping solution providers with knowledge and insights on how to effectively engage and build long-lasting relationships with the tribal gaming industry.
The Indian Gaming Association has tapped into the extensive industry knowledge and experience of Frances Alvarez, to lead this program. Alvarez is a highly respected leader in the tribal gaming industry, with over 24 years of service. She remains engaged and influential in Indian Country through her roles as Chairwoman of the Tribal Gaming Protection Network, President of the National Native American Hall of Fame, and Gaming Commissioner for the Wilton Rancheria Gaming Commission. In these capacities, she builds strong relationships and fosters opportunities for collaborative success. Through her firm, Rezonate LLC, Alvarez demonstrates her unwavering commitment to service while actively working to reshape the conversation surrounding tribal relations.
Indian Gaming Association Chairman Ernie Stevens Jr said: “We are excited to introduce TribalBond at the Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention. Our goal is to provide Indian Country with the best experience to foster meaningful connections and support their communities. This program will be a game-changer to support the innovation that tribal gaming is known for. We could not think of a better person than Frances to help us introduce this program to the event.”
The highlight of TribalBond is its engaging speed networking format. This fast-paced, efficient program ensures participants maximize their time at the tradeshow while establishing meaningful professional relationships. The 2025 event will feature five rounds of speed networking over the course of April 2 and 3. Participants in the TribalBond program will enjoy exclusive benefits designed to enhance their experience as well as their professional growth.
“As a long-time supporter of the Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention, I’m excited to lead the TribalBond program. My aim is to support the tribal gaming community by connecting them with innovative products and insights to enhance their operations and communities. Equally important, I will provide solution providers with the knowledge and resources needed to foster meaningful, lasting partnerships with Indian Country. I am encouraged by the positive feedback we have already received from the tribal gaming community regarding TribalBond,” Alvarez said.
