The Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) has announced that the highly anticipated ESIC Global Esports Summit (EGES) will make its US debut in 2024. The summit, a pivotal gathering for the esports industry, is set to take place on October 3 and 4, 2024, at the prestigious Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

This year marks a significant milestone for ESIC as it brings the EGES to the US for the first time, reflecting the Commission’s commitment to expanding its global reach and influence. The move to Atlanta underscores the growing importance of the North American market in the global esports ecosystem and ESIC’s strategic efforts to foster integrity and transparency in this dynamic and rapidly evolving industry.

Presented by ESL FACEIT Group, EGES 2024 will be hosted in a dedicated conference venue within the Georgia World Congress Center, running concurrently with DreamHack Atlanta. As a unique bonus, all EGES attendees will gain access to the world-renowned DreamHack festival, which kicks off on the second day of the summit.

The EGES was conceived by ESIC to serve as the premier forum for the esports industry—a neutral space where key stakeholders can convene to discuss, debate, and address the most pressing issues facing the sector. By bringing together a diverse array of industry leaders—including publishers, tournament organizers, teams, media professionals, and non-endemic partners—ESIC aims to facilitate meaningful dialogue and collaboration that will drive the future of esports forward.

Stephen Hanna, ESIC’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “We are excited to bring the ESIC Global Esports Summit to the United States for the first time. As the esports industry continues to grow and evolve at an unprecedented pace, it is essential that we create spaces where industry leaders can come together to address the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. EGES 2024 in Atlanta will provide a vital platform for top minds in the industry to collaborate, share insights, and uphold the principles of integrity that are fundamental to the success of esports worldwide.”

David Neichel, Senior Vice President of Public & International Affairs at ESL FACEIT Group (EFG), said: “We are honored to host the ESIC Global Esports Summit together with the DreamHack Festival in the olympic city of Atlanta. Such a prestigious global event, which will also combine with the Georgia Games Week festivities, will bring an additional brick to our festival. And for the Global Esports Summit participants coming from all over the world, it will offer a unique immersion into the thriving esports and video games community that makes DreamHack such a unique experience.”

EGES 2024 is specifically designed to cater to executives and decision-makers who are keen to stay ahead of the curve in this fast-paced industry. The summit offers an unparalleled opportunity for leaders to gain insights into the latest developments, challenges, and opportunities in esports. Through its carefully curated agenda of keynote presentations and expert panels, EGES provides the strategic knowledge and networking opportunities essential for navigating the complexities of the esports landscape and ensuring sustained growth and success.

The 2024 summit’s agenda is carefully crafted to foster deep, impactful discussions through keynote presentations, expert panels, and collaborative workshops. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with thought leaders on the critical challenges and emerging trends within the esports landscape, with a particular emphasis on upholding and enhancing the integrity of esports competitions.
