The American Gambling Awards has announced FanDuel Sportsbook as the 2023 “Online Sportsbook of the Year.” The American Gambling Awards are produced by Gambling.com Group Limited, a leading provider of player acquisition services for the regulated global online gambling industry.
FanDuel has established itself as the leading online sportsbook in the US with 44% market share and currently stands at 48% gross gaming revenue share year-to-date for 2023, tops among all U.S. operators.
Judges cited FanDuel’s strong commitment to customer engagement through innovative product offerings like being the first to market with Same Game Parlays. The judges also cited FanDuel’s strategic partnerships as another driver of its success. During the judging period, FanDuel was an official sports wagering partner of the Kentucky Derby, making it the only sportsbook where fans could place bets on the race.
